Through contemplative practice and observation, participants will  begin cultivating an intimate relationship with lunar rhythms as living expressions of  sacred order. This session grounds our spiritual work within the beauty and wonder of  the cosmos, inviting participants to experience the Moon not merely as metaphor, but as  an active presence moving in partnership with the Earth, the Sun and with our own inner  waters. 

Session 2 — Moon Myths and Lunar Lore: Goddesses, Folk Traditions, and Sacred  Calendars

Across cultures and centuries, humanity has turned toward the Moon for guidance,  mystery, and meaning. In this session, we enter the rich tapestry of lunar mythology  and sacred lore. Together we will explore lunar Goddesses, moon-centered folk  customs, traditional lunar systems, and the ways ancient peoples tracked sacred time  through lunar calendars. We will examine stories of the Moon that uncover the  archetypal currents that continue to shape spiritual consciousness today. Participants  will be invited to reflect upon which lunar myths resonate most deeply within their  own soul landscape, discovering how ancient stories may serve as mirrors for  contemporary spiritual practice and personal transformation. 

Session 3 — She Cycles Within: Embodiment, Cycles, and Lunar Wisdom

The Moon has long been associated with the mysteries of the body, fertility, intuition,  and feminine becoming. In this deeply embodied session, we explore the relationship  between lunar rhythms and our lived experience. Topics include menstruation,  gestation, hormonal cycles, cyclical awareness, fertility consciousness, emotional tides,  and the reclaiming of embodied wisdom. Bleeding and non-bleeding persons alike will  learn approaches to lunar charting and cyclical tracking as tools for self-awareness,  healing, empowerment, and spiritual alignment. With compassion and reverence, we  will consider how reconnecting with natural cycles can become an act of sovereignty  within a culture that often encourages disconnection from the body’s sacred  intelligence.

Session 4 — Of Moon and Stars: The Lunar Self and the Soul’s Journey

In astrology, the Moon reflects our emotional landscape, instinctual responses, memory,  intuition, and soul-deep needs. In this session, participants will explore the Moon  through the zodiac signs and deepen understanding of their own natal Moon  placement. Together we will examine lunar elements, modalities, aspects, and the role  of the Moon in shaping our inner world. We will also explore the lunar nodes as  gateways of evolution and soul growth that transcend this lifetime.Through guided  reflection and chart exploration, participants will begin to understand how lunar  astrology can illuminate patterns of nourishment, belonging, emotional inheritance, and  spiritual unfolding. 

Session 5 — The Silver Lady and the Green Mysteries: Allies for Transformation

The Moon’s influence extends through the plant kingdom, shaping tides of growth,  flowering, potency, and energetic resonance. In this session, we explore the ancient  relationship between lunar cycles and herbal practice. Participants will learn traditional  approaches to planting and harvesting by the Moon, discover herbs associated with  lunar energies, and engage in the crafting of lunar elixirs, incense blends, and energetic  condensers. This session invites participants into a more intimate relationship with the  green world, awakening awareness of plants as allies in magical, devotional, and  healing work. 

Session 6 — Moon Magic: Ritual, Correspondences, and the Silver Arts

The Moon has long been central to magical practice, serving as a source of power,  intuition, and transformation. In this session, we explore lunar correspondences and  practical techniques for Moon-centered ritual work. Topics include an encounter with  Yesod — the lunar sphere upon the Tree of Life, candle magic, spell crafting, scrying,  lunar timing, sacred tools, and methods for aligning magical work with specific phases  of the Moon. Participants will deepen their understanding of lunar energy as a current  that may be consciously partnered with for healing, manifestation, divination, blessing,  protection, and release. 

Session 7 — The Nine Phases of the Moon: The Ninefold Path of Lunar Initiation
Saturday, 11 September 2027

Beyond the familiar eight phases lies a deeper initiatory framework: the Ninefold Lunar  Mysteries of Avalon. In this session, we explore the spiritual and energetic significance  

of the nine lunar phases and their relationship with the Ninefold Way of Avalon.  Participants will learn the qualities, archetypes, altar correspondences, magical  associations, and developmental themes connected with each phase. We will examine  how the Ninefold can empower our priestessing services while catalyzing inner  transformation through alignment with this sacred rhythm. This session serves as the  heart of the series, offering participants a framework for living in conscious partnership  with the unfolding spiral of lunar initiation. 

Session 8 — The Waxing Moon: Building, Becoming, and Holy Emergence
Saturday, 9 October 2027

The waxing phases of the Moon call us toward growth, expansion, manifestation, and  emergence. In this experiential session, we work intimately with the energies of the  Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, and Full Moon. Participants will  explore practices and rituals aligned with creation, momentum, confidence, clarity,  visibility, and fulfillment. Through guided exercises and ritual exploration, we learn  how to consciously cultivate energy and direct intention in harmony with the Moon’s  increasing light. This session emphasizes the sacred art of becoming — nurturing the  Sovereignty that seeks to bloom within our lives and souls. 

Session 9 — The Waning Moon: Release, Reflection, and Sacred Descent
Saturday, 13 November 2027

As the Moon wanes, she invites us inward. This session explores the mysteries of  surrender, dissolution, wisdom, and rest through the Waning Gibbous, Third Quarter,  Waning Crescent, and Dark Moon phases. Participants will engage practices for  releasing attachments, clearing energetic residue, grieving, reflecting, simplifying, and  listening to the wisdom that emerges in stillness and darkness. Coming into partnership  with the Shadow is a core component of our sacred transformation, and an important  ongoing practice over the course of our lives. This session honors the waning cycle as an  essential aspect of wholeness and spiritual maturation. 

Session 10 — The Sovereign Moon: The Mysteries of Inner Authority and Sacred  Presence Day
Saturday, 11 December 2027

At the center of the lunar mysteries stands the Sovereign Moon — a gateway into  wholeness, balance, and authentic power. In this session, participants explore the  spiritual significance of Sovereignty within Avalonian practice. Together we will  

examine how lunar work can support the reclamation of inner authority, aligned choice,  sacred boundaries, intuition, and self-trust. Rituals and contemplative practices will  

invite participants to embody the wisdom of the sovereign self: rooted, receptive,  discerning, and radiant. This session serves as an integration point within the series,  weaving together lunar wisdom and lived experience. 

Session 11 — Drawing Down the Moon: Lunar Embodiment and Sacred Invocation Day

Saturday, 8 January 2028 

One of the most enduring practices within lunar traditions is the art of Drawing Down  the Moon — a ritual of invocation through which practitioners invite lunar  consciousness into embodied presence. In this session, we explore the history,  symbolism, and spiritual significance of this ancient magical technique while learning a  grounded, contemporary approach to lunar embodiment. Participants will be guided  through preparatory practices, energetic attunement, invocation methods, and  integration techniques intended to cultivate a safe, reverent, and transformative  experience of lunar communion. This session offers a profound opportunity to  experience the Moon not solely as an external force, but as a living current awakening  within. 

Session 12 — Lunar Journeying: Walking the Inner Path of the Moon
Saturday, 12 February 2028

In our closing session, participants are invited into the practice of Lunar Journeying: a  contemplative and visionary process of traveling inward through the pathways of the  Ninefold Moon. Guided journeywork and meditative practices will support the  cultivation of insight, guidance, and soul-deep wisdom. As the series concludes,  participants will emerge with practical tools, spiritual practices, and a living  relationship with the Moon that may continue unfolding long after the final gathering.  The Moon becomes not merely an object of study, but a sacred companion and divine  ally — reflecting the luminous, ever-changing mystery of the soul itself.
